No one could have predicted how crazy things would get Senku (Yusuke Kobayashi) and his friends during this episode of dr Stone.

While they anticipated and even planned to meet new people on Treasure Island, they could never have anticipated that most of the ship’s crew would be petrified all over again. Now called a mysterious girl amarylliswho claims to know the source of the petrification ray, enlists Senku’s help against her village’s oppressor.

However, only time will tell if Senku can trust her, or if this island even holds the resources he was looking for in the first place.

• Senku and his friends approach the island with their ship and are still cautious about how they want to go ashore.
• The group decides to first send a small reconnaissance squad consisting of Senku, Soyuz, Kohaku and Gen to the island. After noticing something on the sonar, Ukyo stays behind to examine the ocean floor.
• The ship members discover that Suika stowed away on the Perseus to take part in the mission.
• Ukyo and Ginro discover petrified bodies on the sea floor and realize that after the first ray of petrification, these people somehow petrified and fell into the sea.
• As Soyuz looks back at the ship through a telescope, she realizes that everyone who remained on the Perseus, except for Suika, has somehow turned back to stone.
• Senku and his friends meet a beautiful young woman named Amaryllis on Treasure Island. Senku and the other members of the Scout Regiment follow her, hoping to learn more about her surroundings and the location of the treasure.
• As Amaryllis and the group talk, she begins to realize that Senku isn’t there to take her to the “master,” a man she’ll rumoredly later marry.
• The members of the Amaryllis village suddenly decide to riot against the master. Senku decides to calm her down with the tear gas he brought to the island, just in case.
• After seeing what she calls sorcery, Amaryllis reveals that not only does she know the source of the Petrification Ray, but also that her goal is to marry the Master so she can invade his palace and defeat him.
• Amaryllis then asks Senku for help in her fight.

predictions

My predictions weren’t quite right or wrong last week. It seems that the master of this island might have an interesting technology. It has also been hinted that Soyuz may have been sent away from Treasure Island for a specific reason, which has not yet been disclosed. Until we find out more, I’ll keep speculating.

• While I think this master can petrify people, I don’t believe he is the why man or has the same ray that originally petrified the planet. I have a feeling we’re going to find out that this person might have made a deal with Why-Man for power.
• Also, considering the master’s ability to petrify people, I have a feeling he’s probably already used up all the resources from the treasure chest that Senku was looking for.
