Quinta Brunson is on the way Saturday night live to host the April 1st episode of the popular late night show.

The 33 year old Abbott Elementary School star was announced as the host during the March 11 episode hosted by Jenna Ortega.

This is her first time hosting the show.

The April 1 episode could be tense as it’s the date several post-production editors are threatening to go on strike. diversity broke the news earlier in the week, reporting that work could grind to a halt if negotiations over wages and health benefits stalled.

Quinta‘s exciting new appearance comes after the news that Abbott Elementary School was renewed for a third season earlier this year. She won big for her role on the show during the Golden Globes 2023.
