Raccoon Holds Its Own Against Ninja Bobcat With Insane Quickness

Didn’t see that coming…

You would think that a predator like a bobcat would be able to take good care of itself and even kill a few raccoons. I mean, there isn’t much of a size difference between the two, but old garbage panda doesn’t seem like a good partner for a bobcat.

But what do I know? Obviously the raccoon can hold his own against this beast of a kitten.

The two have an intense look at a person’s backyard near Sarasota, Florida. The raccoon circles around without breaking eye contact, and finally… the bobcat attacks.

The raccoon doesn’t flinch an inch and hands it right back to the bobcat, which you can tell he wasn’t expecting. The two walk back and forth, with the bobcat using its ninja-like agility to punch and dodge almost simultaneously. It’s crazy how fast it is… like Floyd Mayweather in his prime.

They get tangled up until the bobcat spins to run away, with the raccoon right by the tail.

The bobcat returns, but the raccoon chases him right out of the yard, making sure he knows who’s boss in the backyard.

What a strange fight with a very unexpected outcome, but it’s likely that the raccoon has had some babies recently and has been struggling to protect its young.

But according to the homeowner, his backyard is full of awesome animal adventures:

“Please subscribe to enjoy wildlife videos from my garden every week! This video shows a quarrel between a mother raccoon and a fairly young bobcat.

Look to the end and you’ll see the bobcat running back into the swamp, but what you can’t see is that it jumps over the water stream and climbs a tree. The raccoon that follows him yelps and jumps into the water as you can hear the splashing.

Also amazing is the sound of the cat’s body cutting through the air at such speed that the camera catches it. And of course Mr. Ibis Bird strolls by at the very end.”
