Radfield Home Care in York was in the top two percent of providers

Radfield Home Care has been audited by the industry regulator, the Care Quality Commission (CQC), and was awarded Excellent status following an inspection in January.

The inspection analyzed the service to ensure it is safe, effective and responsive while recognizing the approach of being caring and well run.

According to the CQC report, “The service was well managed and set a positive example for other organizations and the local community.”

“The provider lived and worked by its values, which were embodied throughout the service and shared by the employees.

“The vendor really valued their employees for doing a great job and made sure they were fully supported and recognized for doing their best.”

“The management team understood the issues in the local community and worked to address them through effective collaboration with a variety of other organizations.”

With a team of 25 nurses and office management, the report described the nature of the service as “superbly managed”..

Radfield Home Care York, Thirsk and Ryedale Director Ed Gill said: “I am so proud of everyone’s involvement in achieving this milestone and to be the only outstanding home care provider in York and the surrounding area is exceptional.”
