Real Madrid set sights on attacker but will not go overboard to sign 19-year-old: Reports

Real Madrid are interested in signing Villarreal winger Yeremi Pino and have been in touch with his representatives, according to the Spanish outlet El National.

Pino’s contract expires in the summer of 2027 and while his market value is around 40 million euros, the Yellow Submarine have set a price of 80 million euros. However, acc defense headquartersReal Madrid won’t sign the teenager if Villarreal go overboard with the player’s rating.

The winger has become a permanent fixture in Villarreal’s starting XI after a groundbreaking 2021-22 season. Pino has seven goals and four assists in 40 games in all competitions this season.

He has one goal and one assist in eight games so far this season. The teenager can play on either flank in attack and has been crowned four times by Spain’s senior team.

Pino provided coach Luis Enrique’s 25-man Spain squad for September’s UEFA Nations League games. La Roja host Switzerland on Saturday (24 September) before traveling away to Portugal three days later.

Pino’s agent, Jonathan Barnett, recently made comments that may hint at where his client might be headed. He said in an interview with Goal:

“If you want to be the best player in the world or one of the best, the best thing you can do is play for Real Madrid.”

Pino made his debut for Villarreal’s C team aged 16 after rising at Castellon in youth. He would make his professional debut for Villarreal as a substitute in a Europa League game in 2022.

The winger has made 85 appearances for the Yellow Submarine in all competitions, scoring 15 goals.

Real Madrid are in the running for midfielders from Borussia Dortmund

According to SPORT via the Real Champs, Real Madrid are interested in signing another prodigy in Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham. The England international is followed by some of Europe’s biggest clubs including Madrid, Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool.

The black and yellow should demand a fee of around 100 million euros for the sale of Bellingham. His contract at the Westfalenstadion expires in the summer of 2025.

The former Birmingham City midfielder has made ten appearances in all competitions this season, scoring three goals. Real Madrid lost Casemiro to Manchester United this summer but the acquisition of Aurelien Tchouameni from AS Monaco cushioned that blow to some degree.

Last year, the Madrid-based giants signed Eduardo Camavinga from Stade Rennais. The two France internationals are seen as long-term replacements for Luka Modric, 37, and Toni Kroos, 32, who are both in the final years of their respective playing careers.

Bellingham’s addition could be the last piece Los Blancos Midfield puzzle but his signing wouldn’t be cheap or easy given the competition. Real Madrid set sights on attacker but will not go overboard to sign 19-year-old: Reports
