Klopp is hoping for a similar performance from his side at the Bernabeu. Such a goal is entirely possible if Mohamed Salah, Cody Gakpo and Darwin Nunez are all at their best.

But once again, midfield is the problem for Liverpool. Despite all the kilometers in Luka Modric and Toni Kroos’ legs, they are still capable of controlling games at this level.
