Prince William and Kate are reportedly set to move into their new home in Windsor this summer with their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

And it’s not just the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge who are excited about their move!

Although the Carmbrige children are finishing primary school, Prince George is said to be particularly excited about moving to Windsor and here’s why.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are said to be preparing to uproot their lives with their family to Windsor very soon.

The family will reportedly be moving from their home in Kensington Palace to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor.

Her four bedroom home is on the Windsor Estate near the Queen’s residence, Windsor Castle.

It’s also much closer to Kate’s parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, who live in Bucklebury, Berkshire.

But it’s not being close to his family members that excites George the most!

Prince George is delighted with his move to Windsor

The Cambridges’ move to Windsor means the children have to move to different primary schools and leave their school friends behind.

The move to Windsor gives Prince George and his siblings much more freedom to pursue their outdoor hobbies.

But despite this big change, Prince George is still looking forward to moving to Windsor.

According to Hello: “Moving to Windsor will give Prince George and his siblings much more freedom to enjoy their outdoor hobbies such as swimming, football and tennis.”

Sporty Prince George

Prince George is known for his passion for sport, he is a huge fan of tennis in particular and was recently spotted having a great time with his parents at the Wimbledon final.

He also receives private lessons from professional tennis player Roger Federer.

Federer confirmed he had been to Kate’s parents’ house to meet George and admitted George had good tennis technique when they played together.

He told Hello: “At this stage it’s just about touching the ball, it’s okay. The same goes for my boys.”

So it’s just his luck that Adelaide Cottage offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor fun!

The property will provide plenty of space for the Cambridge children to play outside and explore the gardens.

Windsor Great Park is also on the property’s doorstep, where the children can also go for walks and bike rides.

So Prince George will definitely not be bored in his new home!
