Release date, time and location of Episode 5 of White House Plumbers

The Watergate scandal is not exactly unexplored in film and television. All the President’s men unpacked like reporters at The Washington Post revealed the details back in 1976. Just recently gas lit At starz examined the scandal from Martha Mitchell’s perspective.

But you probably haven’t seen the version of Watergate pictured here White House Plumber — unless you saw it veep, I suppose. This satirical and over-the-top interpretation of the story treats the whole thing as a farce, turning E. Howard Hunt and G. Gordon Liddy into caricatures and relying on the timeless quip that Washington’s political actors are all idiots.

Here’s what happened White House Plumber Episode 4:

• After the Watergate burglary was exposed, Howard Hunt and Gordon Liddy react very differently. Liddy is a little proud of herself while Howard panics beyond belief.
• In this panic, Howard forces St. John to help him dispose of the evidence.
• When Dorothy returns from Paris, she urges Howard to hire the services of a defense attorney.
• Dorothy arranges government hush money payments to be distributed to her family, the Liddys and the Cubans.
• Nixon wins the election by a landslide, meaning the whole thing was pointless anyway.
• When Dorothy finds out Howard implicated St. John in the cover-up, she decides to leave him. She boards United Flight 553 to meet with a journalist, but the plane crashes, killing all the passengers.
