The two polls come weeks before the midterm elections, when Crist, backed by California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D), is desperate to portray the successful Republican governor as a dictator.
More recently, Crist has expressed moral outrage at DeSantis sending migrants to Martha’s Vineyard, accusing him of being part of a “human trafficking operation”:
A criminal investigation has been launched into Ron DeSantis’ political human trafficking.
Who else agrees it’s about time Ron DeSantis got what he deserved?

However, DeSantis has followed suit, pointing to the great hypocrisy of the Democratic elites who deported the migrants from the prosperous island in 48 hours. He also questioned how Democratic elites expect everyday American communities to bear the costs and burdens of welcoming migrants when the elite’s rich island claims they lack the resources to host just 50 migrants.
“They said they couldn’t accommodate. … If the wealthiest island, one of the wealthiest in America, can’t accommodate 50, then look at all these other communities and they’re just supposed to accommodate all of that more?” DeSantis asked during Tuesday’s news conference.
“They’ll say, oh, you know, sending a bus out of Texas is a stunt. The biggest stunt is Biden coming in as president and reversing Trump’s policies just so he can signal as a virtue that he is anti-Trump,” DeSantis said of Biden, who Crist is representing.
“It didn’t matter that the policy had worked. He had to be anti and that’s why he did it,” DeSantis added, stating during the press conference that Florida was ready to “make more of an impact.”
