Shake up as Rochelle Humes steps aside

This Morning presenters will be given a shake from tomorrow (5 August) after it was revealed Rochelle Humes will not be appearing on Friday’s show.

Rochelle has co-hosted the ITV daytime series alongside Vernon Kay since Monday (1 August).

But she confirmed today (Thursday 4 August) that she won’t be sitting on the This Morning sofa with him tomorrow.

Auxiliary presenters have replaced anchors Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby after they ended the summer a month ago.

Rochelle’s revelation

Since Phil and Holly went on their break, various presentation combinations have kicked in.

These include Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary, as well as Josie Gibson and Craig Doyle.

And it looks like it’s Josie returning for Friday’s installment.

Rochelle confirmed the change at the end of tonight’s show, as she informed viewers that Westlife would be among the guests.

“Now Josie will be joining Vernon on This Morning tomorrow,” she said.

Josie will also be there next week – and again alongside Craig.

Reviews from social media users have been a bit mixed for Rochelle and Vernon this week.

But some fans want to see her on their screens much, much more.

One Twitter user wrote: “#thismorning #theresnothinglikeadame can we make Rochelle and Vernon a fixture #theresnothinglikevernonkay @vernonkay.”

Meanwhile, another person captioned her: “Rochelle and Vernon are a good match #ThisMorning.”

And someone else asked, “Can we have Vernon and Rochelle full time please #ThisMorning.”

This Morning hosts: Summer line-up revealed

Both Josie and Rochelle have been reported to be returning since the summer of 2022 when the presenting lineup was reported.

And alongside Rochelle, who will be collaborating with Craig in the future, she will also co-host with Andi Peters.

Ruth Langsford will also present with Rylan ahead of Phillip and Holly’s return on September 5.
