Sir Bobby Charlton: Five memorable Manchester United games for the club legend

Charlton survived the Munich air disaster and only suffered minor injuries. He was the first injured survivor to leave the hospital and return home on February 14, eight days after the crash that killed eight of his teammates and a total of 23 people. After spending time at home in Ashington recovering, Charlton played in United’s first game since the disaster, a 2-2 FA Cup draw with West Brom on March 1. Still only 20 years old, Charlton was the player United would look to most to help them rebuild.
