Sonic can be older when it comes to Frontiers. Sega removed references to He’s Age after his age

With Sega removing references to his age on the official website, it looks like Sonic will be a bit older in Frontiers. While a bruise has been around for 30 years, it’s a little old now, but it seems Frontiers can spend some time teasing the number of places on his calendar so he can finally celebrate his birthday.

It seems the Sega site removed the section of Sonic’s profile that said he was 15 years old. Everything else remains the same, suggesting that this was a deliberate move before Frontiers launched.

There is no one complaining! Sonic Frontiers should leave the ring behind.

Using this web archive, we can see that the age ratings were removed sometime between May and September of this year, further suggesting that the decision had an impact on the forthcoming release of Sonic Frontiers.

Looking at the site myself, it seems that the only character in the world who is birthday sized doesn’t have a name that big. All of her friends weren’t removed from the page, like Tails and Amy, who were always eight and 12, respectively. Since they will also be in Frontiers, we can expect to see the entire crew much older.

Sega kept much of Sonic Frontiers under wraps, obviously wanting to keep the mystery alive. Regardless of what we’ve seen so far, a time warp is hardly surprising. When it was released, fans soon noticed that Sonic’s voice was much deeper. This could have been done at the direction of Sonic Team as they hope to portray a more mature version of this character.

If that’s not the case, we won’t have to wait much longer to see what happens for us. Sonic Frontiers is scheduled for release on November 8th and is available for PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PC. Sonic can be older when it comes to Frontiers.
