Following Vince McMahon’s retirement from WWE, Stephanie McMahon rose to become co-CEO of the company alongside Nick Khan. Today she announced her retirement from the promotion.
Last July, Vince McMahon was overshadowed by allegations that prompted him to retire from WWE. This allowed Stephanie McMahon, Nick Khan and Triple H to take the company forward and usher in a new era.
It was over eight months with McMahon and Khan as co-CEOs of WWE. Unfortunately, her time as President of the company ended when she announced her retirement and resigned from the company.
In a statement on Twitter, Stephanie McMahon announced she was taking a vacation, a decision she made last year before being named co-CEO at short notice. She also resigned from her position as co-CEO.
“Back then. Now. Forever. Together.”

In the meantime, Triple H will retain his role as Chief Content Officer and will be the creative mind behind all three brands’ weekly product. It will be interesting to see if the company makes any new changes when Vince McMahon returns as Executive Chairman.
