Stocks move heavily after hours: PANW, URBN, INTU, TOL

Palo Alto Networks — Shares gained 3.5% after the company’s earnings and sales beat estimates in the fiscal third quarter. The cybersecurity company reported adjusted earnings per share of $1.10 and revenue of $1.72 billion. Analysts polled by Refinitiv had estimated earnings of 93 cents per share and revenue of $1.71 billion. The company’s earnings guidance for the fourth fiscal quarter also beat expectations.
Urban Outfitters — The clothing retailer’s stock rose 6%. Urban Outfitters posted earnings of 56 cents per share for the first quarter. Analysts had expected earnings of 35 cents per share, according to Refinitiv. Revenue also beat expectations, with the company reporting $1.11 billion versus consensus estimates of $1.09 billion.
Agilent Technologies — Shares of the laboratory technology company fell more than 6%. According to Refinitiv, Agilent saw profit and revenue increase in the second fiscal quarter. The earnings and revenue guidance for the third fiscal quarter was lower than expected.
Intuitive — Shares of the tax software company fell more than 5%. While Intuit’s fiscal third-quarter earnings beat estimates, revenue fell short of expectations, according to Refinitiv. The company’s earnings outlook for the current quarter was also lower than what analysts had been estimating.
Great brothers – Shares rose more than 3% after the company’s earnings and sales beat analysts’ estimates for the fiscal second quarter. The company said the surge in demand that started in January continued into the third quarter.
VF Corp. – Shares of the apparel company rose 2% in extended trading. VF, whose brands include Smartwool and The North Face, posted adjusted earnings of 17 cents a share on sales of $2.74 billion in the fiscal fourth quarter. According to Refinitiv, analysts were expecting earnings of 14 cents a share on sales of $2.73 billion.
