Pick #1: Warrior -4.5
The Golden State Warriors are an automatic bet at home at this point as they go into this game 28-7 at home this season. Meanwhile, they face off against a Suns team that has a 15-19 losing record this year. Assisting the Warriors to win a game with two possessions is certainly worth trying based on those numbers alone.
Add to that the fact that Kevin Durant is still out for the Suns and the Warriors are in a great position to win this game. With multiple teams sitting just a game behind the Warriors for sixth place in the Western Conference, you can expect Golden State to come out and protect their home spot with a lot at stake.
Pick #2: Chris Paul under 14.5 points
The second leg of our Suns vs. Warriors parlay fell short for Chris Paul’s total. Paul will have his hands full defensively in this game which could negatively impact his offensive performance in this competition. Golden State is a really tough team for Paul on the defensive end of the floor as there’s nowhere to hide him on a team with so many shooters in the guard spots.
That game could also get away from the Suns, to the point of leaving Paul off the ground for long parts of the fourth quarter. At the very least, we expect him to focus more on defense and that will affect his score.
Pick #3: Steph Curry 5+ threes
Finally, we like that Steph Curry hits five or more threes in this game. That sounds like a square game, but his numbers since returning from injury warrant a game with the over on his threes made at five. Curry has made five or more three-pointers in three of his four games since returning, and we expect him to make it to four of five this time.
