Suspect removed GPS tracking device and fled: Durham police officers

Durham Regional Police are searching for a suspect who removed his GPS tracking device and fled the area, failing to comply with a release order.

At approximately 11:20 p.m. Tuesday, police searched a home in the Delaney area of Dr. and Westney Rd. in Ajax for the removal of a GPS surveillance device by an accused.

The suspect had a release warrant on condition that he had a GPS monitor and lived with his guarantor.
Police say the suspect removed the device and fled. His whereabouts are unknown.
Michael Nanton-Madden, 28, of Ajax, is wanted on two counts of violating release orders.
If anyone sees this suspect, do not approach the man and notify the police immediately.
