Sweets, Treats and Treasures opens on Middle Street, Consett
Sweets, Treats and Treasures opened on Middle Street in Consett on Saturday (October 7), inviting residents to try out their wide range of goods.
The store includes three stores specializing in American candy, pet supplies, and home goods and gifts.
These stores include Consett Candy, Pampered Palates and Rachael’s Homeware and Gifts.

The candy store will offer its customers confectionery from abroad, particularly from the United States and Japan.
A spokesman for Consett Candy said: “We had a very great opening day and Consett Candy has reopened.”
“We’re three different businesses in one.”
“It took about four months to get the store to where we are today and it took a lot of time and effort.”

A spokesman for Sweets, Treats and Treasures said: “What a great opening day we had.”
“Fantastic to meet and chat to our lovely new customers. A big thank you for all your support today.”
Pet supplier Pampered Palates said it will offer customers “all-natural” dog food, treats and products.
Meanwhile, Rachael’s Homeware and Gifts offers handbags, shoes, jewelry and other items for sale to customers.
Speaking at the opening, Pampered Palates said: “We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who visited Sweets, Treats and Treasures for our open day today.”
“We were overwhelmed by how much support we received today. There are also many special thanks from us that helped us get to our destination on time today.”
“Claire Lyons, Mark Lyons, Ben Lyons, Emily Lyons, David Wright, Joanne Wright, Claire Davie and Ian Davie, you are the best family anyone could ask for.

“Without you, we couldn’t have done the painting, cleaning, clearing trash, stocking shelves, working in the store, or making our beautiful balloon displays.”
The store is located on the site previously occupied by Nobles Amusements.
The store added that it will feature a local business’s products in the store to give back to the community.
Store opening hours are Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
