Techland unveils Dying Light 2 update roadmap for 2023 and reveals new story DLC details

Techland has announced the date for the new Dying Light 2 roadmap for 2023. The roadmap includes an update to combat, movement, and a new story expansion through the second PlayDLC.

The two anniversary events Bloody Anniversary and Dropkick Weekend will offer interesting things to the players in the coming weeks. Bloody Anniversary runs from January 30th to February 9th and Dropkick Weekend runs from February 2nd to October 9th.

A new generation in 2023 will also be introduced to the combat and movement mechanics of Dying Lights. Combat against melee fighters will be reworked. Parkour and traversal methods will also change. Tymon Smektala also brings a new strategy for this year.

Those who want to keep the infected from fighting violently or without any other means will be happy with one of the supplements to Dying Light 2: Stay Human that we are currently planning to write.

Dying Light 2 is a zombie game where you get hit by a gunshot that may hint at the possibility of guns in the future. The first level of combat described in Smektala didn’t explicitly mention weapons, and as far as we know, this new form of combat could be completely different than that in the zombie game.

You can learn more about the second expansion that followed last year’s Bloody Ties expansion. This new expansion is more story-driven, with references to the first game, Dying Light. The DLC was actually shown off in a new YouTube video, which you can find in the screenshot above.
