Teenager killed after car crashes into wall on Brimham Rocks Road
At 6.50pm emergency services were called to Brimham Rocks Road, near Nidderdale, following reports that a gray Peugeot 107 had collided with a wall.
On Wednesday (September 13), North Yorkshire Police confirmed that a 17-year-old, a passenger in the Peugeot, died at the scene of the accident.

The boy’s family has been informed and is being supported by specially trained officers.
Three other passengers suffered minor injuries and the driver is assisting police with their investigation.
The road was closed for several hours to allow investigations at the scene of the accident.
Police are now asking anyone who saw the collision or the car involved before the collision to come forward.

It is believed the car left the Fulford area of York at 11am on the same day and traveled to Brimham Rocks via Kirk Hammerton, Green Hammerton and Knaresborough.
Officers are interested in hearing from anyone who captured dashcam footage of the vehicle prior to the collision.
