Tennessee Fan Tears His ACL Celebrating Upset Victory Over Alabama: “Worth It”

In case you haven’t heard, Tennessee epicly defeated the mighty Alabama Crimson Tide in football last Saturday by a score of 52-49 and scored a game-winning field goal on time to seal the deal.

That was MASSIVE as the Volunteers had lost a whopping 15 straight games to The Tide dating back to 2006.

Just think about it, some of these freshmen were only two or three years old the last time Tennessee beat Bama, so needless to say they drank the entire city of Knoxville out of liquor that night while also tearing down the goalposts and stormed the field after the game.

One thing is certain about Tennessee fans, and it’s that they’ve been in a massive football drought for over a decade, which has been difficult given their rich track record on the gridiron.

Not to mention they’re as passionate a sports fanbase as you can find, so you already know they’ve been crazy about W.

That being said, this Vols fan might have been partying a little too hard, and he’s about to be out for a hot minute.

We’ve all seen the crazy videos of fan reactions, whether they’re winning or losing the game.

We’ve seen videos of people smashing their televisions, swearing at their families, or just generally breaking other objects.

But when Tennessee kicker Chase McGrath nailed the 40-yard field goal to win the game, the only thing this Tennessee superfan did was break himself…

I’m talking about how he celebrated so much by jumping up and down that he ended up tearing his cruciate ligament.

In the video you can see the guy jumping up and down in the back frantically and then his knee buckles so he dives down to grab it and eventually falls to the ground trying to smile through the pain.

A beautifully tragic timeline of events, if I do say so myself:

Its worth it…
