The 2000 Years of War, The Yensota War v. O. The History of the Yensotan

The short documentary Bleach: The Thousand Years Blood War is about to be released. Aniplex has released new footage from this series in the form of a teaser trailer.

The trailer, streamed during the Aniplex 2022 online celebration on September 23, is short and the light is one thing. The film focuses on showing Ichigo, Uryu, Chad, and Orihime after the gap between the final arcs and the WWII arc. Both were seen as a weapon in battle. They are most commonly seen fighting Hollows, and each one does a quick job with their enemies.

However, dialogue exchanges between the characters are shown simultaneously. Orihime mentions to Uryu that he and Ichigo seem friendlier at the moment, but the two voices express concern about whose attacks are more dangerous to those around them. He clearly states that he sees nothing but helping anyone and asks the rest of the group if they are up to the task too.

All of this is complemented by an animation that’s still impressive compared to the original series run. At times, attacks show an impressive amount of sakuga, while the easier exchanges and moments still maintain a solid amount of style and flow.

As long as you watch, this series is difficult to go through, but definitely worth it. The full trailer can be seen later.
