The 6 story Air Castle Treehouse might be the coolest Airbnb in Texas

If you were looking for a nice Airbnb in the Dallas, Texas area, look no further.

Since Airbnb has grown in popularity, we’ve seen people turn some wild places into cool places to stay. And folks in Texas have led the charge when it comes to badass treehouses.

We all remember them one nearby Green hall that Kö Wetzel stayed in (and was arrested while there), but in Ladonia, Texas, just outside of Dallas, there’s another one that’s causing a stir.

And this treehouse, called the Air Castle Treehouse, is made entirely out of old shipping containers and has SIX STORIES.

Here’s a little description of what you can expect:

“The most unique treehouse destination you will find. From 12 years. 2 bedroom/1 bath treehouse uses 4 shipping containers. The facility is kept in a modern country style. After waking up to an incredible view, venture outside onto one of 5 balconies including the 3rd floor screened porch with hot tub or the 6th floor Crow’s Nest perched 50 feet in the air.

You will immerse yourself and be one with nature and the environment. Some of the native animals you may see include: deer, wild boar, raccoon, armadillo, possum, rabbit, bobcat, squirrel, owl, red-tailed hawk and many other bird species. There are a number of hiking trails that you can explore on foot or by bike.

The tree house has all the comforts of home and many that only exist in your dreams. Any time of the year you can be comfortable with a 20 foot wall of windows where you can watch birds and squirrels feed 20 feet off the ground from the comfort of electric loungers.

Each of the 5 balconies offers unique views of nature and shade. Relax with a morning coffee on the balcony off the kitchen, or take steps to the shady crow’s nest to swing in a hammock 40 feet off the ground, completely surrounded by extra tall railings. In the evenings, light a fire in the covered fire pit and take in nature and the crackling of the fire.”
