Pokémon Purple – Nintendo Switch

One of the most popular games of the year, Pokémon Violet is a romp through the Paldea region. With brand new Pokémon to discover and rivals to battle, this baby will keep you entertained for hours.
Will you go for Fire Croc Fuecoco, Water-Qualey or Grass-Sprigatito? All three are adorable, and all three are viable options. Whichever you choose, you’ll have a similar experience with both Pokemon Violet and Pokemon scarlet. There are a few differences between these games, but that’s part of the fun!
“This new open world Pokémon game is awesome! I was so busy exploring that by the time I got my second badge, my team was in their 60s 🤣. There are three storylines…I highly recommend this new generation,” said one player.
If you are a fan of Sonic style 3D platform games, this is the game for you. If you’re a fan of 2D Sonic-style platform games, this is the game for you too. There’s something for everyone and it’s a brand new take on Sonic the Hedgehog in an open world setting.
A fan called this a new era of Sonic. “I’m still in the middle of playing this game, but for the most part the level design is well thought out and the character interactions are so much better now than they have been in years. There are real connections from Sonic to each of the characters, and the boss fights are an interesting, offbeat setting. However, they fit well with what this story conveys. We recommend!”
Calling all Kirby fans! Kirby and the forgotten land is a new take on the franchise that encompasses all the fun and loveliness (is that a word?) of the Kirby series. Save all the different Waddle Dees and help rebuild their town, find secrets and improve your skills. It’s also a two-player game, so you can sit down with someone special and experience it together.
“Beautiful and really fun game for Kirby’s full 3D adventure. I think they found a great balance with the difficulty. Kirby isn’t known for being heavy, of course. Coming from a 27 year old fan of this series, it was pretty easy on wild mode while still being challenging enough that you can’t be totally alert and get through it – and that’s all I can ask for.” said a fan. “There are loads of challenges in the special challenge worlds and a steep difficulty increase towards the end. This was a great new entry and a good game if you just want to take a break from school/work/life while still busy in the adventure.”
With nine characters to choose from, you can assemble a team of three to help you fight the forces of evil and save the galaxy by rescuing the scattered Sparks. Use cover, use unique abilities, and think about every move – you can be sure your enemies will too!
It’s impressive even for humans who are not fans of strategy games. “This game was a lot of fun. I never played the first one and thought I was lost and clueless about certain aspects of the game, but it’s a story in its own right. Each of the characters and Star Sparks have unique abilities, so playing is such a breeze. Turn-based strategy usually bores me and feels like drag, but this game was fun and easily accessible.”
Anyone who is a fan of Fire Emblem: Three Houses can get more of the universe they love in this Musou-style interpretation. Fight your way across vast battlefields with action-adventure gameplay. But no worry; It doesn’t completely do away with classic Fire Emblem strategy, and it uses unique gameplay twists to keep you on your toes.
said one player“This game is a fantastic addition to Fire Emblem Three Houses lore. If you liked Three Houses and don’t mind a little mix of warrior gameplay, this is a must-try. This game would also have been welcome as a mainstream Fire title of the Emblem.”
enjoy classics TMNT Gameplay across 13 different titles but with upscaled graphics and online gameplay to replace couch co-op. You can save at any time, and the rewind button will help you get through the hardest parts.
“What a collection. I didn’t know it included these strategies, walkthrough videos, and original game manuals. The rewind feature is great, but the reduced slowdown and reduced flicker options are awesome for the NES games. This is a must see.The arcade ports are great too, love the four player local couch co-op [on the] same change car!” said one player.
Battlefield 2042 It might have gotten off to a rocky start, but updates have made the game superbly playable and there’s plenty to do. Different roles serve different tasks on the battlefield – will you be a medic and keep your allies in the fight, or will you take on the role of a scout and sniper and cover your team from afar?
a player compared it to the popular Socom 2. “This brings me back to my Socom days on PS2. I enjoy the different modes, especially Rush XL. Weapons, specialists, gear, etc., so much for customization. More and more players are playing with the many improvements that have been made since launch. Plus Seasons 4 and 5 are coming for 2023.”
With five classic pitches from the previous one mario party games, Mario Party Superstars has plenty of nostalgia for longtime players along with tons of new content to experience. You can play online with friends around the world – or sit on the couch with your family. It’s a great time for everyone, regardless of their skill level with a game controller.
a player said her whole family loves it. “Mario Party Superstars offers a great mix of classic Mario Party games. Everyone from my 5 year old to my husband can find a game they like. Some games are very easy and others require more skill. We’ve had many fun family game nights with this one.”
Like Lego? Like War of stars? Then bringing the two together is a sure win! Play through the story of war of stars and experience each planet in a whole new way. Explore different lands and drive all the different vehicles with one of literally hundreds of playable characters.
“Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is one of those games that you pick up and don’t want to put down…as always! The latest game in the long-running Lego series offers players the opportunity to play through nine star wars movies .Travel across 20 iconic planets with hundreds of unlockable characters and vehicles, as well as action-packed battles and epic cutscenes!” said one enthusiastic fan.
