The Biomechanical Body Horror game Scorn gets new Prologue Footage

Both Ebb Software and Kepler Interactive released nearly nine minutes of gameplay footage from Scorn, their first-person survival horror film inspired by HR Giger and Zdzisaw Beksinski.

The prologue sees the protagonist as an unnamed humanoid sleeping in a surreal space that’s not short of spooky, daring pieces and unnerving, edgy designs that blur the lines between living organisms and machines.

HR Giger has worked on the filmmaker’s special effects team since 1979.

Zdzisaw Beksinski is famous for his works, which depict a surrealist style with a strong emphasis on real architecture.

The video game can be viewed below.

Scorn will be available on October 21st via Steam, Epic Games Store and GoG. It’s PC and Xbox Game X|S (day one with Xbox Game Pass) on Monday.

Scorn fans have been eager to get their hands on it for some time. It was announced in November 2014. Since then, the game has undergone many changes, updates, and teasers before confirming its release date in June of this year.

The game will be available on October 21, 2022 on PC and Xbox X|S, and a day-first version of Xbox Game Pass is available.
