“The Dumbest In The History Of The World”

When Damar Hamlin collapsed in Monday night’s regular season football final, health safety became the primary concern of pundits, fans, planners and teams. However, as Hamlin’s health has only become more stable, the league has become more focused on the state of the current season.

Put simply, one NFL analyst is unhappy with the league’s move to fix the home field advantage problem that arose after Damar Hamlin recovered. Speaking of First takeNFL analyst Chris Russo slammed the decision.

“The NFL with this neutral location, that’s the stupidest thing in the history of the world. They did a horrible, horrible job that we do a neutral site for the AFC championship game. Not only that, you’re going to put it in a dome.”

He continued, expressing his sympathy to season ticket holders that this decision may have repercussions:

“So we’re going to have two outdoor teams playing in a dome and a neutral venue. I’ve never heard of anything like this. How about the poor Chiefs or Bills season ticket holders who have to get by a lottery to get to the game and then fly to Atlanta to go to the football game? What about the poor fanbase?”

While a long list of solutions were circulated by fans to maintain the legitimacy of the season, the league ultimately chose to allow the game to be no-contested.

Will the Buffalo Bills win a Super Bowl for Damar Hamlin?

Additionally, it stipulated that teams must take steps to play the game at a neutral venue in the event the Bills or Bengals advance to the AFC Championship game against another opponent.

Of course, for this to happen, at least one of the two teams must win two games in the next two weeks. This week, the Bills take on the Miami Dolphins, who are without Tua Tagovailoa. Meanwhile, the Bengals take on the Baltimore Ravens, who may not have a starting quarterback either.

Dolphins HC Mike McDaniel ruled out Tua Tagovailoa for Sunday’s game against Buffalo. He still hasn’t released the concussion transcript.

Will the neutral site plan materialize and create what many would describe as the most unorthodox penultimate game in NFL history?
