The former Premier League striker, who once cost £13.5million, is moving to relegation-threatened League One side Morecambe on a free transfer

Ex-EVERTON striker Ouymar Niasse has finally found a new club – League One contenders Morecambe.
The £13.5million former Senegal star, 32, has been clubless since Burton Albion sacked him last summer.
The Yorkshire Post Let’s say Niasse kept fit by training with non-league teams West Didsbury and Chorlton.
He played Premier League football for the Toffees, as well as on loan for Hull City and Cardiff.
And after seven years in England, he’s delighted to be joining a close-knit club like the Shrimps.
Niasse said: “It’s fantastic to be here and to join the club.
“When I spoke to the manager (Derek Adams) and the staff, it was clear that there is a togetherness and unity here that I want to be a part of.”
Niasse’s big break came in 2013 with Turkish Premier League side Akhisar Belediyespor.
But it was during two seasons with Russian team Lokomotiv Moscow that he caught the eye of Everton.
He landed a £13.5million move to Goodison in 2016 on a 4.5-year deal.

But he fell out of favor under Ronald Koeman, who said: “(If) Niasse likes football then he has to leave Everton.”
stints at Hull and Cardiff were followed by brief stints for champions club Huddersfield in 2021 and League One Burton last year.
And now he’s landed another short-term deal – aiming to keep fourth-placed Morecambe.
