The French Press Restaurant Announces Second Location in Lafayette

The French Press, a popular local restaurant, announced it will be opening a second location in Lafayette.
After serving unique Cajun-inspired creations at its original location in downtown Lafayette since 2009, The French Press takes its cook-centric casual dining to a different side of the city.
James Beard-nominated chef Justin Girouard and his wife Margaret have worked together for the past 14 years to bring rich flavors to locals and visitors alike. a permanent fixture in the heart of Cajun country.
If there were a “downside” to The French Press, it would be that its popularity usually meant a little wait, but even customers lining up to enjoy their favorite dishes understood that “quality can’t be rushed.” ‘ and The food was always ‘worth the wait’.
Their offering of brunch day and fine dining service has been described as modern and comforting, and now fans of The French Press have a new place to enjoy their food – known for its fresh, quality ingredients and rich flavors.
The French press made the announcement via social media, revealing that their second location will be at 3822 Ambassador Caffery in Lafayette, next to SkyZone.
The building was formerly occupied by Brick & Spoon – another restaurant that served breakfast and brunch before closing in September 2022.
We got in touch The French Press More information on the expected opening date and opening hours at the new location. Based on their announcement, there appear to be no plans to close the original location at 214 E. Vermilion in Downtown Lafayette.
