The Hobbs women’s clothing store in Davygate has closed for redevelopment
Women’s clothing store Hobbs in Davygate is getting a fresh look.
Shop fitters have moved in and a sign in the window says improvements are being made and that they will be open again soon.
There have been a number of new additions to the street recently: Slater Menswear opened in the old Sports Direct earlier this year, joining jewelers Mappin and Webb and a Rolex shop that opened in the former Debenhams and Virgin Money branches .
Family-run jewelry company Beaverbrooks opened a major new store in the former Accessorize and Space NK boutiques in Davygate back in March, after moving from its previous, smaller premises in Spurriergate.
