The police are looking for the missing woman Olga Jarosz and find a body on the beach

Olga Jarosz, 40, disappeared from London and is believed to be in the Eastbourne area.

Sussex Police said a member of the public discovered the remains of a woman at 6.40am on Sunday morning. Ms Jarosz’s family in Poland has been informed.

Officials concerned for her well-being on March 7 urged anyone with information about her whereabouts to call 999. Extensive searches have been carried out in the area in recent days.

In a statement, Sussex Police said: “Unfortunately the body of a woman was found at around 6.40am on Sunday 12 March by a member of the public in Seaford Beach.

“The investigation is ongoing but the family of Olga Jarosz, who went missing in London, has been informed.

“The death is not being treated as suspicious and the East Sussex Coroner has been informed.”
