He added that they were invited to host this year’s event and after a meeting with chairman Kev Fryett, they were invited to host another event and home games.
Mr Smith said the club and chairman were pleased with the reception of the meal, adding he was “flattered” when asked to cater for the clubhouse.
He said: “It was a success, it was very well received by all the fans.”

“The clubhouse hadn’t really had much of a revival in a while, it seemed a little dated, the menu was a little dated and I think they wanted something a little more ‘out there’.”
“We branded it in the style of Smokin Joe.
“Everyone is welcome, we pride ourselves on the freshness of our ingredients and the quality of our products. People can look forward to good food, the good atmosphere and the good vibes that we bring.”
The new venue features artwork by the restaurant’s airbrush artist David Earl, which will be unveiled on Saturday.
Mr Smith said they had bought new tables and chairs to modernize the space and also wanted to add “football-themed arcade machines”.

He said the menu was tailored to ensure it was as affordable as possible.
Mr. Smith added that they plan to host a “Smokin Joe’s Fest” in 2024 and hope to make the most of the space.
