The submersible boat built by New Zealand extreme sports fans

When you look at this picture, you might think it’s a great white shark or a tiger shark – it’s actually a boat.

The submersible called Seabreacher X Watercraft was designed in 1997 by inventors Rob Innes and Dan Piazza. It’s part sub, part power fuel boat and was found in Queenstown, New Zealand, one of the best countries in the world for extreme sports.

The Seabreacher can reach a speed of 80 kilometers per hour, jump 18 feet out of the water and dive to a depth of five feet. It can also turn tight donuts and side rolls at 90 degree angles.
