The Valkyrie’s Challenge Cup quarter-final draw will take place on May 26th
The much-anticipated draw will be broadcast live on BBC Radio 5 Live following the conclusion of the Betfred Super League match between Leeds Rhinos and St Helens.
Salford Red Devils head coach Paul Rowley will conduct the draw at Headingley Stadium.
With a convincing 44-4 win at Barrow Raiders and a record-breaking 122-0 home win over Hull KR at the LNER Community Stadium, the Valkyrie secured their place in the competition ahead of Sunday’s game at Leigh Leopards.
Should the Valkyrie top Group Three, they have an important home game in store for them in the quarterfinals.
Seven of the eight teams – York Valkyrie, Leigh Leopards, Leeds Rhinos, Huddersfield Giants, Wigan Warriors, St Helens and Warrington Wolves – have already secured promotion in the competition.
The final, won by St Helens last year, will be played for the first time alongside the men’s competition at Wembley Stadium on August 12 – both games will be televised on BBC Sport.
