The Wild West adventure park is the ‘perfect escape’ with cowboy shows and Christmas village – just 2 hours from the UK

AN ADVENTURE PARK in Europe is being described as a “perfect escape” by holidaymakers – and tickets cost less than £15.

One adventure park that British holidaymakers may not have thought of is Pullman City Western Town in Germany.
According to the New York TimesThe German amusement park was founded in 1997 by a group of residents who had staged several successful Wild West shows in the area.
Located just two hours south of Munich, the Pullman City Western Town covers 60 acres and is home to many different attractions.
In the Wild West town, visitors can explore authentic saloons, take part in line dancing workshops and watch live-action shows.
One of these shows involves cowboy fights, while others recreate scenes from German novels set in the American West.
The shows are performed exclusively in German.
For younger park visitors, there is an adventure park with a climbing frame, suspension bridge and slides.
There’s also a miniature train, a water playground, an arts and crafts room and a dance club.
Other activities include gold panning, hiking tours and character meet-and-greets.
There are also numerous restaurants in the adventure park, including a music and dance hall that hosts live music on weekends.
Burgers are served at Black Bison Saloon, while a selection of steaks are served at Rodeo Steakhouse.
From November 10, 2023 to December 17, 2023, park visitors can visit the German-American Christmas market.
The adventure park also receives good reviews, with a rating of 4.4/5 stars from almost 10,000 reviews on Google.

Tickets for adults cost €16 (£14), while children aged between 4 and 14 cost €5 (£4.38).
The Pullman City Western Town is two hours by car from Munich and three and a half hours from Vienna.
Plus, it’s only a two-hour drive from České Budějovice in the Czech Republic.
Both British Airways and easyJet offer direct flights from British cities such as London and Edinburgh.
Sun Online Travel found one-way tickets from the UK to Munich for £38.
Holidaymakers can also stay overnight at the adventure park, with various accommodation options available.
One of them is the Palace Hotel, which is located in the heart of the adventure park.
Other accommodation options include country houses, log cabins, a holiday park and tipis.
