The youngest Triple H signer makes his WWE debut

Triple H has been scouting for talent since taking over as Chief Content Officer of WWE. Along with several reinstatements, some fresh faces were also hired, including Karl Fredericks.
The 32-year-old previously worked for NJPW from 2018 to 2022. His greatest achievement during his time at the promotion was winning the coveted Young Lion Cup in 2019.
Just as Fredericks was about to erupt, the Covid-19 pandemic seemingly dashed plans. When his contract with NJPW ended in August 2022, Karl Fredericks chose not to renew it.
Although he was spotted at the WWE Performance Center in September of last year, his commitment wasn’t revealed until earlier this month. Confirming all speculation, Fredericks made his debut for the promotion at a recent NXT Live event.
With a look very different from his NJPW days, Karl confronted Fredericks Axiom at the show in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Check it out below:
While his debut was undoubtedly impressive, it remains to be seen when the company will bring Karl Fredericks to NXT TV. Additionally, fans can expect the 32-year-old’s confrontation with Axiom to lead to a feud between them.
WWE and Triple H are interested in additional NJPW stars
The Japanese promotion has no shortage of talented performers, and WWE is trying to get its hands on a few more of the company’s athletes. A recent report suggested that Triple H was interested in bringing Tama Tonga and Hikuleo.
Tonga defeated RAW Superstar Karl Anderson at Wrestle Kingdom 17 to win the NEVER Openweight Championship. This suggests his chances of showing up at the Stamford-based promotion are slim, even though his NJPW contract is about to expire.
Hikuleo, on the other hand, meets Jay White on an unspecified date in a Loser Leaves Japan. Losing that match could pave the way for his signing to WWE.
