Thieves in St. Landry Parish Drove Into Two Stores, ATM Missing

Thieves in St. Landry Parish get extraordinarily bold. Overnight thieves drove into two different shops, an ATM is missing.

The St. Landry Police Department is looking for the criminals who drove into two different stores to steal the ATMs from each store.

The first incident happened at Family Dollar on Veterans Memorial Drive in Washington. St. Landry Police say the suspects drove a car into Family Dollar and took the ATM with them.

In the second robbery attempt, the thieves at the Lewisburg Grocery used the same method. They drove into the store expecting to steal the ATM, but this time they were unsuccessful.

St Landry Police are looking for video from both robberies to help identify the suspects.
