This boy on an ATV who throws beer cans at cops while eating donuts at his high school is a never-ending police chase

That’s about as West Virginian as you can get.

In 2020, an 18-year-old child became a legend on an ATV at Mingo Central High School in southern West Virginia after making donuts in the school’s yard while leading police on a wild car chase.

And of course there were also many students who made the video available to us.

According to Williamson Daily News18-year-old Zachary Kyle Fowler was arrested on a dozen different charges following the chase — a chase in which Fowler threw full cans of Bud Light at police while fleeing in his UTV.

If this isn’t some Dukes of Hazzard redneck shit then I don’t know what is.

In the videos posted online, you can see Fowler kicking up mud in the school yard while he makes donuts while a brave soul (the principal?) tries to get him to stop.

But every West Virginian knows you can’t reason with a drunk hillbilly in a side by side.

The police then chase the fleeing student through the school yard while the students stand outside and laugh at the wild scene. Fowler finally managed to escape the pursuing officers as he led them down a dirt road and then fled onto the Hatfield and McCoy Trail.

Fowler turned himself in to police a few hours later – but not before spotting himself on social media and sharing the videos on his Facebook with the caption “Yes sir”.

And apparently Fowler was content with his newfound fame, because when he appeared in court to present himself, he asked people in the courthouse if they wanted his autograph.

Like I said: legend.
