Three arrested for drug offences released on bail

The PSNI has announced that two men and a woman charged with possession and concern over the supply of Class B drugs have been released on bail pending further investigation.

Inheritance charges relate to searches at Newtownstewart on Friday.

The 40-year-old woman was charged with concerns over the supply of Class B drugs, possession of a Class B controlled drug and other offences.

She was due to appear at Londonderry Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 6 August.

A 43-year-old man and a 45-year-old man were both arrested on suspicion of possession of a Class B controlled drug.

The 43-year-old man was also arrested for possession of criminal property and several other offences.

While the 45-year-old man was also arrested for possession of a Class B controlled drug, with intent to supply a Class B controlled drug and concerned about the supply of a Class B controlled drug.

A police spokesman said: “As usual, all charges will be examined by the prosecutor.”
