Three hospitalized after crash in Marton, Middlesbrough
The serious car accident triggered a large deployment of rescue services, including the police, rescue service and fire brigade.
The road was closed for hours this evening, but traffic is now flowing through the area again.

The incident happened outside of Captain Cook’s elementary school in Martin-in-Cleveland.
A spokesman for the North East Ambulance Service said: “We were called just before 6pm today (6 August) to reports of a traffic accident on Stokesley Road.”
“We dispatched two ambulance crews, a paramedic and a clinical team leader and brought three patients to James Cook Hospital.”
