Tiger Woods denies having a lease with ex Erica Herman as he fights back in $30m lawsuit

TIGER WOODS has denied having a lease with his ex-girlfriend as he fights back in their bitter $30m legal battle.

Erica Herman is said to have sued her former boyfriend after he claimed he “tricked” her into kicking her out of the Florida mansion they were living in.

She claims she was told to pack for a holiday, but when she arrived at the airport she was told she had been locked out of the £41million Hobe Sound property.

Herman, 39, is also suing the Jupiter Island Irrevocable Homestead Trust, which Woods controls, saying it broke a verbal agreement to let her live there rent-free with his two children.

She insists there were five years left of the housing agreement when he ended the relationship in October 2022 and is demanding £25million to settle the feud.

But now Woods’ attorneys say it was NO Deal struck that allowed Herman to share the golfer’s home with him – and she was an “invited guest” instead.

The lawyers said in a court filing: “Mr Woods never negotiated an oral lease with Ms Herman.

“There was never a written lease between Mr Woods or the Trust either.

“[Mr Woods] informed Ms. Herman that she was no longer welcome at the residence.

“Mr. Woods arranged for Ms. Herman to stay at a local luxury resort and provided funds for her to apply for a new residency.”

Herman filed a lawsuit against the golf icon to quash a non-disclosure agreement she alleges Woods, 47, signed early in their five-year relationship.

Herman claims that the non-disclosure agreement should be voided if there is evidence of assault or harassment.

TMZ reported that a private trust run by the golfer is trying to “aggressively enforce” the non-disclosure agreement after their relationship ended.

The couple were last seen together in public playing US Open tennis in August 2022, two months before their split.

However, Herman was alongside Woods at the 2019 Masters, the sight of arguably the greatest of his 15 major golf wins, as well as his historic 80th PGA Tour win in East Lake, Georgia, the previous year.

The pair were first pictured cuddling on the pitch at the Presidents Cup.

Erica – who ran his pop-up restaurant titled The Woods – sported a “gamer spouse” badge normally reserved for wives and girlfriends.

And they officially went public a month later in November 2017.

She was once harshly branded as a “gold digger” who “hunted tigers like a pup” but was later credited with saving the golf legend’s life.

They stayed together after Woods’ horrific car accident that broke his leg and threatened to end his ability to walk, let alone return to the golf course.

Woods married Elin Nordegren in 2004 but they divorced in 2010 following his infidelity.

Since then he has had many lovers, including porn stars and nightclub hostesses.

In August 2017, the former world No. 1 announced that she was splitting from girlfriend Kristin Smith.

The Dallas-based personal stylist had believed the golfer was cheating on her and broke down in tears after his arrest for drunk driving in the spring, he reported Radar online.

He has since been linked to fitness model Laci Kay Somers after the pair reportedly partied together in the US.

Woods also dated Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn.
