Tom Brady’s Military Comment Leads to Mocking by Black Hawk Vet

Tom Brady, quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, is always in the headlines.

That’s the reality of being in the spotlight and widely regarded as the greatest footballer of all time.

Of late, his life off the field has filled the tabloids due to marital troubles.

The 7-time Super Bowl champion quarterback had an “epic fight” with his supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen, and the two have reportedly hired divorce lawyers.

Brady’s play on the field this season has been underperforming for the 3-3 Buccaneers, leading many pundits to speculate that father time is finally catching up with the 45-year-old.

He also draws criticism for comments he has made regarding the military and football.

During an episode of the podcast Let’s go!Brady made toneless comments, comparing playing soccer to serving in the military.

“I almost look like you’re about to serve a military-deployment football season,” Brady said. “And it’s like, ‘Man, here I go again. And there’s only one way to do it.'”

Needless to say, Brady’s comments weren’t well received.

Veteran Brad Thomas, who fought as an Army Ranger in Black Hawk Down, tweeted a photoshopped photo (about veteran Matt Rendar) of his time in Iraq with Delta Force. He added Brady in his soccer uniform to the picture.

Rendar also added another troll job photo of Brady to his IG.

Brady has a net worth of over a quarter billion dollars. He built it by playing a game that entertains the fans.

I’ve never served in the military, but I know playing soccer has nothing to do with deployment.

His comment is hollow and sounds naive.

This caused a lot of backlash on social media.
