Tottenham confirm Davinson Sanchez and Tanguy Ndombele are joining Galatasaray

The Turkish team scrambled to finalize the contracts before 11pm on Monday, when their squad had to be registered for the Champions League group stage.
Sanchez’s departure has now been officially announced after the clubs agreed a total package in the region of £12.8 million. Ange Postecoglou approved the sale while Ndombele joined the club on a season-long loan.
Sanchez had entered the final year of his contract with Spurs and it seemed unlikely he would be a regular starter. The 27-year-old’s only appearance in the Premier League this season was when Cristian Romero suffered a head injury against Brentford, while the Colombian missed a penalty in the Carabao Cup shootout loss to Fulham.
The move to Galatasaray marks the end of Sanchez’s six-year spell as a Tottenham player after joining from Ajax in the summer of 2017. During his time in north London he played 207 games, scoring five goals.
Ndombele, who remains Spurs’ record signing, spent last season on loan at Napoli and now gets another temporary move to impress, with him and Sanchez joining the likes of Wilfried Zaha and Mauro Icardi at the Turkish club .
Galatasaray announced that they have the option to make the contract permanent next summer for a transfer fee of £12.8 million.
