Tottenham manager news: Arne Slot confirms he is ready to leave Feyenoord

Eyenoord manager Arne Slot is ready to leave the club this summer due to interest from Tottenham.
Slot is being considered for the managerial post, although the Eredivise club insist no approach has been made yet.
The 44-year-old coach turned down Leeds earlier this season before guiding Feyenoord to the league title but now says he could leave as he seeks clarity on his future.
“Everybody needs clarity fast,” he told ESPN. “I [rejected] Leeds in winter and now I stay or go.
“My departure can also be good for the club, but if there is no dream club, I will stay.”
“It’s normal in football to talk to clubs. I’m not saying I’ve done that now, but it’s not forbidden for me to speak to other clubs.”
Feyenoord general manager Dennis te Kloese said earlier on Sunday he expected Slot to turn down an application from Spurs as the Dutch giants reportedly want to reward him with a new contract.
“[Slot] has two years left on his contract,” he told ESPN. “It has been said before and no club has approached us.
“It’s up to Arne to say something about it [his future]. But for us there is no ambiguity about this. We assume that he will stay as Feyenoord coach.”
