Transporting cannabis plants found in a house on Clyde Terrace in Spennymoor
Durham Police special officers stormed a house on Clyde Terrace in Spennymoor on Wednesday morning (May 17).
During the raid, officers conducted a drugs manhunt and discovered more than 300 cannabis plants housed in three rooms.

The street value of the drugs was estimated at £26,000.
The power had also been bypassed, creating a significant fire hazard for neighboring properties.
A man in his 20s was arrested at the scene on suspicion of growing cannabis.
He was taken into custody where he is currently located.
