Trump dominates DeSantis in the 2024 primary poll and leads Biden in a potential showdown

Former President Donald Trump leads three new polls showing he is miles ahead of potential 2024 GOP challenger, Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida. In two of the three surveys
According to a new Emerson College surveyTrump is 26 points ahead of DeSantis.
The poll shows Trump at 55 percent support among Republicans. That’s a huge lead over DeSantis, who had 29 percent support.
No other Republican listed in the Emerson poll received double-digit support.
On his platform Truth Social, Trump echoed to the survey.

“Despite the fake news being circulated in full force and our judicial system armed and corrupt, people are getting it!” Trump posted.
The poll found that 55 percent expect Trump to become the Republican Party nominee. DeSantis, whose star rose with his dominant re-election in November, has not said he will run for the White House in 2024.
The Emerson College poll showed Trump leading President Joe Biden 44 to 41 percent. In November, Biden had led Trump by 45 percent to 41 percent. In a race between Biden and DeSantis, Biden won 40 percent to 39 percent.
Emerson College’s poll of 1,105 registered voters, which has a plus or minus three percentage point margin of error, was conducted Jan. 19-23.

A new survey by advise tomorrow showed Trump with 49 percent support from Republicans, well ahead of DeSantis, who was at 30 percent. The 19-point lead is an eight-point increase since early January.
However, the Morning Consult poll showed Biden had a 44-41 percent lead over Trump, while DeSantis had a 43-41 percent lead over Biden.
The poll was conducted between January 20 and 22 among more than 6,000 registered voters with a margin of error of one percentage point.
A Harvard CAPs / Harris A poll that didn’t release its margin of error put Trump’s support at 48 percent among Republicans versus 28 percent for DeSantis.

In a replay of the 2020 matchup against Biden, Trump led 46 percent to 41 percent.
January The Harvard CAPS/Harris Poll was conducted online with 2,050 registered voters on January 18-19.
Will Trump be elected in 2024?
The polls come as Trump enters the campaign trail. After ABC, Trump will travel to New Hampshire and South Carolina on Saturday. Both are early presidential primary states.
