In a teaser clip released by Carlson on Tuesday, Larry Sinclair, who has been convicted of forgery, fraud and theft and has served prison sentences in Arizona, Florida and Colorado, claims he gave the former US president $250 for the purchase of cocaine that Sinclair snorted and Obama smoked in 1999.
Sinclair also claimed he had sexual relations with the former US leader.

Carlson said in the minute-long clip that the allegations contained “credible information.”
Sinclair first made these claims in 2008 when he rented a room at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. and held an hour-long press conference.

Following the press conference, Sinclair was arrested on a Delaware warrant.
He was never able to substantiate his allegations.
Last week, Carlson revived the allegations against Obama in a podcast episode hosted by comedian Adam Carolla.
“In 2008 it became really clear that Barack Obama was having sex with men and smoking crack,” Carlson said.
“A guy, Larry Sinclair, stepped forward and said, ‘I’m going to sign an affidavit,’ and he did. ‘I’m going to take a lie detector,’ and he did,” he added.
