Northumbria Police are asking for more information after two men were hospitalized after an alleged assault outside the Wafi Lounge on Clayton Street West in Newcastle just before 11.30pm on Sunday April 9th.
Two men were reportedly beaten by two other men, both dressed in dark clothing, and then fled the scene.

Both were taken to the hospital, where one of the men suffered serious head injuries.
He remains hospitalized in serious but stable condition, while the other man suffered minor injuries and was later discharged.
A spokesman for Northumbria Police said: “Officers received a report that an altercation broke out just before 11.30pm on Sunday 9 April outside the Wafi Lounge on Clayton Street West.
“Two men were reportedly beaten by two other men, both dressed in dark clothing, and then fled the scene on foot.
“Both victims were taken to hospital for treatment.
“It was determined that one of the men had sustained serious head injuries.
“He remains hospitalized in a serious but stable condition.”

Officials are now asking anyone witnessing the incident to contact them.
They said any information could help officers in their investigation.
