Two women are attacked outside the Quakerwood Pub in Woodthorpe, York
North Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses and information regarding an attack on two women that took place in the car park of the Quakerwood Pub in Woodthorpe on Wednesday (May 17) at 7.30pm, in which a man punched a woman who she was striking ground threw.
He then pushed a woman who came to the first victim’s aid.
The man then left the crime scene.
One of the women suffered bruises to her face and was taken by ambulance to York Hospital, where she was treated and later discharged.
A police spokesman said: “We are asking for the public’s help in clarifying the full circumstances of the incident. In particular, we ask for information from any witnesses.”
“The man is described as white, in his 30s, wearing a black T-shirt and gray sweatpants. He was drinking in the pub prior to the incident.”
