Due to the hosts’ ongoing invasion by Russia, the Polish city of Wroclaw will host a game that looks set to be crucial for both teams.
Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions have claimed four wins from four places at the top of Group C, scoring 15 goals and conceding just one, after beating Ukraine 2-0 at Wembley in March. Another win here will surely secure their ticket to Germany.
Harry Kane will captain England in his first international appearance since joining Bayern Munich in the summer. Ukraine will battle Italy for second place and a ticket to next year’s finals.
Date, kick-off time and venue
Kick-off between Ukraine and England is scheduled for Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. BST.
The game will take place at the Wroclaw Stadium in Wroclaw, Poland.
