Urgent appeal to find missing 11-year-old Scarborough girl

Ellie left St Augustines School on Sandybed Lane, Scarborough just before 3.20pm today (Monday 15 May 2023) and has not been seen since.

Ellie was last seen in the St. Augustines School uniform. This is a dark blue sweater with a white shirt underneath, black pants and a blue striped tie. Ellie also carried a black puffa-style jacket.

Ellie is approximately 1.50m tall, is described as being of average build with light brown hair that is shoulder length.

Police are currently conducting an extensive investigation in the Scarborough area in a bid to locate Ellie, but are growing concerned for her wellbeing. Officials are now asking anyone who has seen Ellie or has information about her whereabouts to contact them immediately.

Anyone who has seen Ellie or has information that could assist police is asked to call North Yorkshire Police on number 101.
