Vehicle crashes into the backyard of a house in Broussard

Authorities are at the scene of an accident in Broussard and eyewitnesses tell us that a vehicle allegedly crashed into the back of a house.

A photograph sent to us by an overseer confirms numerous reports we received around 8am on Thursday morning (January 12) of an accident involving a vehicle reportedly stopping on the back patio of a Broussard house came.

According to officials, Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Deputies and firefighters were responding to an accident involving injuries reported at 312 Overbrook Drive in Broussard, where listeners described the accident off S Bernard Road not far from Albertson’s Parkway.

A listener told us that it appears the vehicle hydroplaned in the morning rain, but that has not been confirmed by investigators. There is also no news that anyone was home at the time of the crash.
